Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:Good music of all kinds, but primarily real Jazz, the classic music of Ellington, Davis, Shorter, Coltrane, Evans, Bley. Brazilian Music, Blues, some rock but not much these days, some hip hop and R&B. Cassandra Wilson, Susannah McCorkle (may her soul find peace), Maria Rita, Luciana Sousza, John McLaughlin, Taj Mahal, Bebel Gilberto, Weather Report, Mahavishnu Orchestra. Good country music like Johnny Cash and David Alan Coe. , The music of Granados, Debussy, Scriabin, Vaugh Williams. , Salsa, Meringue, Bachatta, ChaCha. I am a huge fan of Gilberto Santa Rosa, Maraca, Marc Anthony, India.

Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:I try to read something new from the non-fiction section of the library every few weeks. I love a good mystery, some of my favorites are Walter Mosely, Ross MacDonald, John Connolly, Dennis Lehane. Books on spirituality like "The World is a Waiting Lover", and books by David Deida. , I read a lot of magazines. I always read GQ, Esquire, New York, Chicago, Car and Driver, Bon Appetit. Harper's and the New Yorker when someone gives me a copy. I now read The Nation. Outside.

I can't edit anything after it goes live......Guess that's what happens when you submit content to the site. -
